MultiCare Health Systems Reaches Settlement with OCR over Alleged Civil Rights Violations Involving Patients Who Are Disabled

MultiCare Health Systems of Washington agreed to implement new policies and practices for ensuring patients who are disabled have access to appropriate auxiliary aids and services as part of an agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington to resolve alleged violations of federal civil rights laws.
