U.S. Court in Michigan Refuses to Allow Doctor to Withdraw Guilty Plea

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan denied November 8 a physician’s bid to withdraw his previous guilty plea to one count of making a false statement, finding he failed to provide a fair and just reason for withdrawal of his plea.
