Florida Oncologist Pleads Guilty to Antitrust Conspiracy

Dr. William Harwin, the founder and former President of Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute LLC (FCS), pleaded guilty to a criminal antitrust conspiracy that involved entering into illegal agreements with a competitor to allocate medical and radiation oncology treatments for patients in Southwest Florida, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced August 24.
