OIG Issues Limited Favorable Opinion to Independent Charity PAP Funded by Drug Makers

The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) said in an advisory opinion posted April 11 that it would not impose sanctions in connection with a patient assistance program (PAP) for patients with rare diseases that is funded by pharmaceutical manufacturers.
