SAMHSA Devotes $200 Million in New Funding to 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) will award more than $200 million in new funding for states, territories, and tribes to help them build local capacity for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and related services, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced May 17.
