FTC Opposes Antitrust Shield for UNC Health System

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is urging North Carolina lawmakers to reject a bill (S-743) that the agency said would allow the University of North Carolina Health System (UNC Health) to engage in anticompetitive mergers and conduct without risk of antitrust enforcement.
