Fifth Circuit Upholds Administration’s Rate Calculations Under No Surprises Act Rule

The Fifth Circuit upheld October 30 the administration’s rules under the No Surprises Act (Act) for calculating out-of-network rates, reversing a lower court ruling in favor of health care and ambulance providers who argued the methodology unlawfully tipped the scale in favor of insurers.
