New Jersey Supreme Court Rejects Self-Critical Analysis Privilege Where Patient Safety Committees Served Multiple Roles

The New Jersey Supreme Court held August 5 that two health care facilities could not refuse to produce certain incident reports and associated documents as “self-critical analysis” that was privileged under the state’s Patient Safety Act (PSA) in negligence actions against them.
