U.S. Court in Florida Rejects Plaintiff’s Motion to Dismiss Data-Sharing Class Action Removed to Federal Court

A putative class action alleging a Florida hospital violated state law by disclosing patient health information through its website to Meta Platforms, Inc. will remain in federal court after the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida rejected April 24 the named plaintiff’s motion for voluntarily dismissal.
