DOJ, FTC, HHS Launch Probe of Private Equity Health Care Deals

The Department of Justice’s (DOJ's) Antitrust Division, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) are seeking public comments on private equity transactions in the health care space, including smaller deals that aren’t reportable to federal antitrust agencies under the Hart Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.
