U.S. Court in California Allows Action Against Hospital over Alleged Website Disclosures Via Meta Pixel

A federal court in California refused November 17 to dismiss an amended complaint in a consolidated class action against Sharp Healthcare alleging it unlawfully disclosed patients’ sensitive health information without their consent to Meta Platforms, Inc. through the online tracking technology Meta Pixel embedded on its website.
