CMS Issues Final Rule on CMPs for Violating Medicare Secondary Payer Reporting Obligations

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued this week a final rule (88 Fed. Reg. 70363) that details the circumstances and process for imposing civil money penalties (CMPs) for failing to meet Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) reporting obligations.
