John Muir Health Bows out of Deal to Takeover Tenet Hospital After FTC Opposition

John Muir Health Center (JMH) has withdrawn its bid to acquire sole ownership of nearby San Ramon Regional Medical Center, LLC (SRRMC) after the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) challenged the deal as anticompetitive, the health system announced December 15.
