CMS Issues Draft Guidance on New Medicare Part D Monthly Prescription Payment Plan

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued August 21 draft guidance for comment on a new program that will allow certain Medicare beneficiaries to pay out-of-pocket prescription drug costs under Part D in monthly installments rather than upfront at the pharmacy.
