Agencies Issue Guidance on “Batching” Claims for No Surprises Act Dispute Resolution

For purposes of the No Surprises Act (Act), multiple claims may be “batched” together and considered as a single dispute through the federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process if the items and services are “related to the treatment of a similar condition,” according to administration guidance released November 28.
