CMS Touts Record-Breaking $2.1 Billion in Medicare ACO Savings for 2023

The Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) generated $2.1 billion in net savings for Medicare across Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in 2023, the largest amount the value-based payment program has yielded so far, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reported October 29.
