CMS Notifies Additional 330,000 Medicare Beneficiaries of MOVEit Data Breach

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has notified an additional 330,000 Medicare beneficiaries that their personally identifiable information (PII), including names, dates of birth, addresses, driver’s license and Social Security numbers, and medical and health information, may have been compromised as a result of a May 2023 data breach of a contractor’s MOVEit application.
