HHS Unveils Proposed Rule Extending Health Care Coverage to DACA Recipients

Up to 129,000 previously uninsured Americans who came to this country as children would begin receiving health care coverage through the Affordable Care Act marketplaces, the Basic Health Program, and some Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Programs (CHIP), under a proposed rule issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services April 26.
