Newly Unsealed Qui Tam Alleges Provider Relief Fund Fraud by Hospital

In June 2023, a federal court unsealed a qui tam that accused a health system of fraud related to its Provider Relief Fund application. That qui tam, in which the Justice Department declined to intervene, gives a helpful glimpse into what could be on the horizon for many health systems that received Provider Relief Fund dollars during the pandemic.
