The Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA), which was signed into law in December 2022, provides for a new exception to the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) for physician wellness programs that allow health care entities to provide mental and behavioral health programs to physicians and other clinicians.
