North Memorial Health Reaches $180,000 Settlement of EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

North Memorial Health will pay $180,000 to resolve a disability discrimination lawsuit alleging it failed to hire an applicant who was deaf as a hospital greeter because of her disability and failed to provide her a reasonable accommodation, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced January 13.
