CVS, Walgreens to Pay $10.7 Billion in Multistate Settlement of Opioid Litigation

CVS Health Corp. and Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc., will pay $10.7 billion to resolve thousands of claims against them for their alleged roles in fueling the opioid epidemic under two multi-state settlements New York Attorney General Letitia James announced December 12.
