CMS Pauses No Surprises Act's Dispute Resolution Process After Court Ruling Nixing Fee Increase, Batching Rule

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) temporarily suspended the independent dispute resolution (IDR) process under the No Surprises Act following an August 3 federal court decision that vacated the agency’s seven-fold increase in IDR administrative fees, according to a recent notice posted on its website.
