U.S. Court in Michigan Tosses Nurse Intern’s ADA Action Against Hospital for Withdrawing Service Dog Accommodation

Hurley Medical Center won January 19 summary judgment in an action alleging it violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Rehabilitation Act when it withdrew a service animal accommodation initially granted to a nurse intern after the dog caused a severe allergic reaction in a staff member and a patient.
