Georgia Lab Pays $16,500 Settlement to Resolve Right of Access Probe

The Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) announced January 3 that Life Hope Labs, LLC in Sandy Springs, GA paid $16,500 to resolve potential violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule’s right of access standard.
